It commonly results from trauma but may be present at birth, in which case it commonly affects the hip. In medical terms knee  cap known as the Patella which is necessary to located in the center of the knee. Whenever knee cap moves from its original place to outside or other place then this disease is known as the luxating patella in Maltese-dogs-breed. This disease normally observed in the Maltese-dog’s-breeds when they are just 2 years old. Symptoms of this disease are common but some are very severe like lameness for sometimes or impermanent lameness and also hopping motion being in observed. When this disease attack the Maltese-dog’s-breeds and their puppies, it is difficult for them to touch legs on the ground. If both legs are affected then dogs might be adopt crouched gait and they feel pain in the joints. Maltese-dogs breed show inefficiency in walking as well as can be disobeying the order of their trainer and owner. In this situation dogs walked by their forelegs slowly. Surgery required to get rid from this disease. Young Maltese-dogs breed are more at the risk than the old dogs of this breed. The organs are involved and being affected by this disease are the musculoskeletal organs mainly. These organs mostly affected by this disease when it attacks the young Maltese-dog’s-breed.
